Murder by Cliché (2022)

Client: BFI Film Academy

Production Co: Signal Film and Media (Dir. Rose Allanson, Elliot Rushton and Georgia Smith)

During this semi-professional & mentored youth filmmaking shoot for young people aged 16-19yrs old as part of the BFI's Film Academy short course programme, I was a Wardrobe, Hair & Makeup mentor, working closely with 3-4 young people in this specialist role. Additionally I was also responsible for Standby Props during production & Graphics, Titles & Credits during post-production. The brief was to create a comedy drama short inspired by mystery crime comedies like Knives Out. Supporting the young people to create and dress characters on location at The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel & Cooke's Studios in Cumbria. The young people supported & participated in creative decisions on adjusting Wardrobe, Hair & Makeup decisions to best suit the comfort of a large ensemble cast.
